Dr. Michelle Barnett
Michelle Barnett is Business Development Manager for Ocean Science at Sonardyne International, responsible for supporting development of Sonardyne’s ocean science global business since 2021, with a special focus on the Origin Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) instruments. She has a strong academic background in the ocean sciences, culminating in a PhD in Ocean Biochemistry from the University of Southampton funded by the Graduate School of the National Oceanography Centre Southampton. It was during her PhD research where she gained significant hands-on experience with the use of a number of oceanographic instruments, sensors and methodologies, including ADCPs.
